I absolutely love this hair mask! The smell is incredible, not too sweet or overbearing but enough to where the fragrance will last after you’ve rinsed it out. The color is gorgeous & colors evenly & lasts a lot longer than other brands of color depositing masks that I’ve used before. Slate gray is my go to color & it’s perfect & when it does start to fade it’s gradual & doesn't get splotchy like other brands’ colors tend do. Overall I am very satisfied with the product & have been a repeat customer for almost two years. You won’t regret purchasing any of these colors!

So, I will start off with a disclaimer that due to a health condition I have to use head and shoulders (a clarifying shampoo) and that makes semi permanent dyes wash out faster. Whenever I dye my hair I also bleach it first so that the color is more vibrant. I'd say that the point of the product, the color shifting in the lighting was cool to witness after the initial application. I will say through no fault of Xmondo that my hair but what I mentioned previously that it faded to a more pinkish color and didn't really shift too much. I have short hair though and each jar of dye is big enough for a lot of applications for me so I was able to upkeep the shift for a lot of the time. I did like the red shift the most.

So, about that title. 😅 I had used this color with two other ones, specifically super red and super purple. I had a plan about how I wanted it to look but as I was going through the process of dyeing my hair, that plan kind of fell apart. However I think that it still turned out pretty good in the end. Mind you, I had done this dye job quite a few years ago so I can imagine that some of these have only gotten better and better now. 😅

My hair condition to start with was: a bleached orange/ yellow blond with platinum highlights and natural Dark brown one inch shaddow root. I used Super Blue then Water back and forth creating teal as it started to fade I bought Amethyst and put right over the Teal color and the results are amazing!!

Pink to red shift is noticeable especially in natural lighting. Very pretty and made my hair feel great.
