    First time using 8A!

    First time using 8A and 7A mixed about 50/50 over my permanent color which was very brassy. My objective was to tone down the brass but my end result was very dark brown especially indoors it looks super dark which is my natural color.

    Next time I will only put the color on the bleached out brassy hair only and not on my roots or newer growth to see how that works. Overall I was thrilled to try this product after watching a billion videos!!!

    Loved it!

    I was a bit skeptical since I’ve had not great experiences with semi-permanent brown shades, but I’ll definitely be using this again. I will agree with other reviewers that it initially is a bit darker than the product photos, but after a wash or two it is spot on. It also fades beautifully. The second picture is after 4-5 washes. Since it’s semi-permanent, it isn’t going to be a high power cover for grays but that isn’t a flaw of the product. I use a permanent color for my roots but this is definitely what I’m going to be reaching for to maintain the rest of my color. For my fine, medium-length hair, one tub was enough for three full applications. Easy to use, smells good but not overpowering, and lasted me about four weeks before I felt like I noticed a considerable fade. Personally I refreshed it with a 1:1 gloss and conditioner mix and it bought me a couple extra weeks.
