Bleach

  • Hi Brad!
I'm 61, have been professionally coloring my hair for years! I want to let my hair go to it's natural dark brown/grey color by adding highlights of grey/silver, but my hair CAN'T tolerate bleach of any kind without complete breakage. I would love your suggestions.
    Thank you!

  • Hi Beautiful! 💜 Letting your natural dark brown and grey shine through is such a stunning transition! Since bleach isn’t an option for you, here’s what I’d recommend:

1️⃣ High-lift color – Instead of bleach, you can try a high-lift color to add some lighter dimension without the same level of damage. It won’t lift as much as bleach, but it can help create softer contrast.
2️⃣ Color depositing masks – Our Slate Grey Color Depositing Mask is a great way to blend and enhance grey tones as your natural color grows in—no damage, just gorgeous tone!
3️⃣ Gentle approach – If you do decide to lift slightly, using a low-volume developer with a bond-building bleach can give you the most gentle lift possible.

Hope this helps, and I’m excited for your new look! ✨💁🏼‍♂️
