I saved and splurged to get the shampoo and conditioner. I had never bleached my hair before. After watching a million of Brad's videos and nailing the butterfly wolf cut blend I have been doing for a few years I decided to bleach it since my gray hair is white and will never take color no matter the kind I try. I used crappy bleach that came in splat kits. I did not have toner. I did try a purple shampoo I already had and it did not tone it much but did do a light violet. I went to Sally's and got toner and the xmondo purple shampoo and conditioner. The bleach job I did was not to bad especially since I had tons of box dye all kinds of colors and not the best quality of bleach. The lady at Sally's said I needed to bleach it again. I did not want to. I used toner and a lot of the yellow came out and at first I thought she was right. I decided to use the shampoo and conditioner first. Y'all it did such a great job I got the white color all over I was going for and did NOT have to bleach my hair a second time. I have used two other brands of purple shampoo and this one is by far better and worth the cost. A little goes a long way. I do wish they did not have pumps as they did leak in the shower down the wall. I have other pumps on other products and they leak sometimes too. Glad we have brad to educate us and glad I did not listen to the lady at Sally's. I did not want to damage my hair more. Thank you Brad for all you do! Hopefully I can get more products someday.
