It’s definitely a purple mask. Like all of Brads products, it smells good, it keeps the yellow tones out of my hair (I use it about once a week) and it doesn’t stain my hands. It also makes my hair pretty soft.

I’ve used a few toning masks and the problem I usually have is they either don’t tone or they leave my hair dry. I try to avoid using purple shampoo because it tends to dry out my hair, so I rely on masks to keep my hair toned in between salon visits. This is the only mask I’ve tried that really tones my hair and leaves it soft and hydrated. I’m definitely going to have to try the entire toning line!

I actually really love this hair mask. I go for a very light blonde/borderline white color. Most products deposit too much purple, which is either the wrong color (obviously) or leaves my hair looking splotchy. I would say this product consistently tones out the yellow and gets me closer to white without also depositing purple (so long as you don't leave it in wayyy too long). It also doesn't leave any weird residue, and makes my hair feel super soft afterward. I would definitely recommend this!
