I want to color my hair without bleach but I don't know which color would suit me best. Please help me Mondo I am a huge fan.

Hi beautiful! Coloring without bleach can still give you some fabulous results! Your natural hair color and skin tone are key factors in finding a complementary shade. For a natural look, go for colors that are within two shades of your current hair color. For darker hair, rich shades like deep reds, purples, or blues can create a stunning effect without the need for bleach. If you're looking for a softer change, try a color-depositing mask like our Super Purple – it’s a great way to add vibrant tones without damaging your hair. Don’t forget to have fun and embrace your new look!

Hi! What color would best suit my natural salt and pepper gray and blonde on 3 inches at bottom of long hair
(waist long)? I think slate gray or ash blonde. Am I wrong?

Hi Beautiful! 💜 You’re not wrong at all—both could work, it just depends on the vibe you want.
Slate Grey is a deeper, darker grey, so it can make salt-and-pepper hair look more smoky and muted (gorgeous if you want a darker, moodier grey).
Ash Blonde is better if you want things to look brighter and more blended, especially with your blonde pieces—it’ll help neutralize warmth and keep the overall look soft and cool.
If you want a more silver/icy effect, try our Platinum 5 Minute Top Coat—it’s perfect for enhancing silver tones and boosting brightness fast.
Since you have only about 3 inches at the bottom that’s gray/blonde, I’d lean Ash Blonde for the most natural-looking blend. If you want extra depth, you can always add a little Slate Grey just to those very ends.
Pro tip: do a strand test first—gray hair can sometimes be resistant and take more sheer. If that happens, just process a little longer for better payoff. 💫
